Held on February 24th & 25th at Birmingham’s NEC; this was the first event of the year for Beaubury. Being blow mould manufacturers and bottle designers, we weren’t entirely sure which service would keep us busiest; as it turned out we seemed to be pretty well placed on both sides as we were able to support our existing customers with their enquiries for tooling, as well as fresh, new enquiries for tooling and bottle concept design.
As a result of changing to solid carbide tools, the drilling of waterway features in moulds is now five times faster than before, owing to the combination of higher speeds and feeds.
